At this healing and spiritual retreat of the 3rd kind, the intention will be one of healing the past, present and future as we send healing energy over time and space to release past karma, bring balance and healing in the present moment to our bodies, minds and spirits as well as to send energy forward and manifest an Ideal world for All.  Participants will experience the pleasure of sound bath healing, chakra clearing and balancing, relax to beautifully facilitated guided meditations, learn about past lives, participate in dream circles and reiki circles....followed by a bonfire celebration with fire dancers, drumming and a night to remember for the rest of your life!

Accomodations are limited and attendees may choose to sleep inside the dome, camp in a tent or RV or sleep directly underneath the stars....  Dinner and breakfast are included as well as a myriad of activites and 'playing' with energy that will leave you buzzing for days!  This retreat will be a night or two following the new moon, so it will be extra dark for our star-gazing pleasure.  Bring your drums!  Bring your telescopes!  Bring your friends! This event is not to be missed and is open to all who seek healing and Ascension!

Envision yourself in a setting similar to kindergarten nap time, a handful of individuals rest comfortably upon cushioned pads with blankets and pillows.  Lying on your back, you stare up at a dome-shaped ceiling completely fashioned out of Douglas fir.  You hear the sound of your own breathing strangely amplified in this acoustically perfect space.  Relaxing, you connect to the rhythm of your breath and let your conscious mind drift. Music begins to fill the room, emanating from singing bowls made of pure quartz crystal.  Their clear tones vibrate and you can feel the different notes resonating up and down your spine, sending tingles throughout your entire body.  Sound waves wash over and through you, energizing and rejuvenating you down to the cellular level and you emerge from the dome refreshed and renewed.  This is just an example of what one may experience during a healing sound bath at the Integraton.

The Integraton is an “acoustically perfect tabernacle and energy machine sited on a powerful geomagnetic vortex in the magical Mojave Desert.”  Its creator, George Van Tassle, was inspired to create this unique structure after he claimed to have a physical encounter with an alien being from the planet Venus.  Despite its colorful history, the scientific aspect of the dome is equally fascinating.  The geometric design of the Integraton’s structure is said to concentrate and amplify energy required to promote healing within the human body and was built to actualize the rejuvenation principles of the Lakhovsky Multiple Wave Oscillator.  Unfortunately, Van Tassel died in 1978 and his work on the Integraton was never completed. In recent years, a geophysicist conducted studies at the dome and discovered a significant spike in the earth's magnetic field at the very center of the Integraton.  The reason for this spike in energy remains a mystery to this day....

Energize and balance yourself with an afternoon retreat full of peace, music and energy. Led by Reiki Master Julie Roberts and a special musical performance by Ed Wing.  The first half of the circle contains a guided meditation led by Julie Roberts to place peace and calm into the heart and mind of each participant. This creates a sacred vibration and sets the tone for individual healing attunements following the meditation. Healing attunements open the body's channels to Universal Life Force energy for a period of time and can clear away energetic blockages within the body temple. They can also help individuals form clarity, release toxins, alleviate pain, increase empowerment & creative inspiration, or just gently balance your body's energy system.

The second half of the circle includes sending Reiki energy to our families, friends, our projects, our dreams, our business, our aspirations. Please bring a symbol of what you would like to send Reiki energy to which will be placed in the center of the circle. This can be in the form of a photograph, a resume, headshots, an unfinished script or a detailed description of what you would like to send Reiki to. Exquisite musician and composer Ed Wing will be playing enchanting zithers, adding to the sacred vibration of the circle and the energy is raised and then sent to that which we desire.

New Moon Reiki Shares

When: 9/8/10 @ 7pm - 9pm; 10/7/10 @ 7pm - 9pm
Where: Secret Sanctuary (Granada Hills) 

This free monthly event is scheduled each new moon and is open to Julie's Reiki students as an extension of their reiki training, giving them an opportunity to work with and learn from each other as a healing community and practice the techniques already learned in the First Degree through Master Degree, taught by Julie.  Even though we would love to have this class open to all students of Reiki and not just Julie's reiki students, it is difficult as healing style & technique varies depending on the teacher and it is believed that when learning a new technique or skill, consistency is best especially at the beginner levels. 

In the Reiki Shares, reiki students will practice giving Reiki to each other as well as share insights, information and explorations in regards to world of energy & Reiki.  Students will practice healing with crystals as well as other tools and Julie will guide students on how to utilize their inner vision to practice a shamanic approach to healing.  This event will rotate from place to place each month so volunteers are needed to host.  Please bring a potluck dish to share as this will help with grounding afterwards.

An advanced energy-immersion healing focus group may be created at a later date to incorporate all different styles and techniques of healing.

Reiki Circles

Julie gives back to the community and the Universe each month by hosting FREE Reiki circles. Reiki circles are an opportunity for students of Reiki to connect to each other as a community and allows those who are curious about Reiki to try it in a group setting.  Reiki circles are an opportunity for participants to experience healing, removal of creative & emotional blocks, find inspiration, clarity and spiritual connection to Source energy through the power of Reiki.  The experience is unique and profoundly different from individual to individual, depending on how they utilize Reiki conscious energy within their own bodies, minds and spirits.

At the circle, participants are first led into a place of peace by a beautifully guided meditation.  Each circle is special and different from the next as Julie allows spirit to speak through her and guide participants on a journey that they would not normally take on their own.  Following the meditation, participants are then are given Reiki healing attunements which increase the flow of Universal Life Force energy through the body temple for a period of time to increase wellness, gain clarity, etc.  The final portion of the circle culminates with a crescendo of Om's, music, drumming, dance or perhaps a kotodama chant which releases the group's intention to the Universe and sends reiki energy to loved ones, the earth, our economy, etc. An announcement goes out each month with the dates and locations of each Reiki circle.  To know the dates & locations each month for this free event, please sign up for the newsletter on the home page.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?  In today's society a great deal of importance is placed upon one's outward physical appearance which we know can have a destructive effect on a person's self-esteem.  How many times have you thought negatively about yourself when looking into the mirror?  (Especially in the changing room of a department store!)  Even when one has a positive self image, there is always room for improvement as we are encouraged to ascend and evolve into the best possible versions of ourselves yet.  Regardless of one's level of self esteem, in this workshop we will change the mirror from an object of dread & self destruction into a powerful healing & transformational tool!  

For centuries, mirrors have been regarded as objects of mystery, having the ability to reflect light and the surrounding physical world.  Mirrors have been seen as magickal tools, portals to other dimensions and realities.  In this workshop, participants will learn to understand and identify the 'mirrors' within their own lives through self-reflection.  Attendees will then create a magick mirror specially designed to inspire and enable the transformation of current percieved realities.  Awaken and unearth your inner diamond and allow it to shine brightly to the outside world! The workshop will culminate in a Reiki Circle, where participants will recieve healing attunements, send energy to their Ideal Self and will place their magick mirrors into the center of the circle, where they will be charged with powerful Reiki energy - for our Highest Good.

Art as a form of healing was at first intuitive and then became a conscious intention of tribal people as shamans created sacred ceremonial rituals involving music, dance, costumes, art and other forms of visual expression to connect to and invoke the unseen energies of spirit. The methods of utilizing art as a healing modality may have changed over the centuries, but it's capacity to invoke healing, transformation and change within a single individual or an entire society remains as powerful as ever as creative inspiration taps into an infinite energetic reservoir of possibility.

In this creative & cathartic workshop, Reiki Master Julie Roberts will perform healing attunements on participants which will open the channels for healing Universal Life Force energy to flow through us for a period of time.  This will not only invoke positive healing energy into the body temple, it will also assist in purging negative energy and give us clarity to release that which may hold us back from our highest potential in this life. 

Then through conscious creative efforts, attendees will mold clay into a physical symbolic representation of that which they wish to remove from their body, mind, spirit and/or life.  This could be on an emotional level, such as anger, jealousy, fear, doubt.  At the physical level, it could represent stress, tension or dis-ease in the body temple.  At the mental level it could represent any mental blocks, negative thoughts or behaviour patterns, etc.  This could also be a symbolic representation of a toxic relationship that you wish to transform or learn from in a positive way but you need to release it in order to do so.  Your intention holds the key.

Just like a rose bush needs to be trimmed back in order for flowers to bloom and grow, it is beneficial for our learning & growth to cut the ties that bind.  However, this can be a difficult process for many as often times we may be unaware of the effect other people or situations may have upon us.  Ever have trouble getting over a breakup or another relationship that has turned sour?  Are there friends and family members that call you and leave you feeling 'drained' time and time again?  If we are negatively affected or 'drained' by certain people, it can throw us off balance, deplete us or even create blocks in our life preventing us from learning and growth.
